The apterous porpoise or porpoise of India or porpoise of Vat ( Neophocaena phocaenides ) is a Cétacé of small size. It is deprived of dorsal aileron.
The size of its petis varies from 50 to 70 centimetres. The males can reach 1,90 m for a weight of 40 with 50 kg but the females are smaller.
Its skin is of color clear gray, its head is round and it does not have a nozzle. On the top of its body it has small tubers and its caudal Nageoire has a notch in the medium.
Its teeth comprise about thirty teeth compressed and flattened at the end. The apterous marsoin has an physical aspect which one can compare with a Beluga.
