Neophema
Described by Adelaro Tommaso Paleotti Salvadori (1835-1923), the kind Neophema gathers Psittacidae of small size to the green plumage enriched by restricted parking zones, red, turquoises and yellows:
- elegant Parakeet - Neophema elegans (Gould, 1837)
- Parakeet with blue wings - Neophema chrysostoma (Kuhl, 1820)
- Parakeet of the rocks - Neophema petrophila (Gould, 1841)
- Parakeet with orange belly - Neophema chrysogaster (Latham, 1790)
- Parakeet turquoisine - Neophema pulchella (Shaw, 1792)
- splendid Parakeet - Neophema splendida (Gould, 1841)
