Nenad Krstić

Nenad Krstić (Serb: НенадКрстић) is a Serb player of Basket-ball born the July 25th 1983 with Kraljevo, Yugoslavia (today Serbia). It is currently the titular pivot New Jersey Nets, in NBA. Its first professional team is the KK Partizan Belgrade, with which it plays in league serbo-Montenegrin, Adriatic League and Euroleague. Officially, Krstić measures 2.13 m and weighs 109 kg.

Krstić is drafté in 24e position of the Draft NBA 2002 by the New Jersey Nets. It decides to play two more seasons with KK Partizan Belgrade. During the Season NBA 2004-2005, Krstić carries out one year rookie excellent, with 10.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.84 block per match. He is elected in the All-NBA Rookie Second TEAM at the end of the exercise.

At the time of its beginnings in playoffs, Krstić compiles 18.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.5 turnovers vis-a-vis the Miami Heat, an exceptional perfomance for a rookie in playoffs. It is the result of an intensive drive which it followed during all its first season, consituant a range of movements of pivot, anisi that a beautiful shot with 6 m.

The fellow-members of Krstić called it Curly .

The season 2005-2006 sees Krstić continuing to improve its play and to become a capital element of the attack of the Nets. Its stats is in increase: 13.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.8 block. With the first turn of the playoffs 2006, against the Indiana Pacers, Krstić marks 18 points per match and collects 7.1 rebounds.

In 2006-2007, in spite of the bad departure of the Nets, Krstić records its best averages in items (16.6), rebounds (6.8), and assists (1.8) before being wounded with the cross Ligament former the December 22nd 2006 vis-a-vis the Los Angeles Lakers with the Continental Airlines Arena. It is put on the key for the remainder of the season. Its return is awaited for the camp of estival drive of the season 2007-2008.
