Nemo editions

The Éditions Nemo are installed since 1990 with Geneva, where they publish works generally very targeted, on topics as varied as the oral culture with the Burkina Faso, the history of the Genevese secret police or orthodoxe Russian in French-speaking Switzerland.

Qualified “desktop publishing”, this company also published works plus intimists, of a neat presentation and in limited pulling, joined together under the label of the collection Motus or the literary Revue “Slow train”, which was published bimestriellement 1991 with 1995.

In 1998 and 2000, the Nemo Editions published alternate guides of voyage on Saint-Pétersbourg and Moscow. Published in French, Russian and English - in separate editions -, the Black Guides offer to visit the back of the decoration of these Russian big cities and propose mainly original addresses in all the fields being able to interest a tourist curious to leave the beaten paths.

In 2000, a bilingual monthly magazine of information (French-Russian) intended for the Russians of French-speaking Switzerland was launched: the Newspaper “Polar bear” (БелыйМедведь). The title today ceased appearing, but the integrality of its numbers is always available on the site of the editor.
