Nekromantix

Nekromantix is a group of Psychobilly which was formed with Copenhagen in 1989.

Biography

After having spent 8 years in the Danish royal Navy as a submariner, the leader (Singer - Double bass player), Kim Nekroman, initially tested himself with the battery in a group of Rockabilly, before being interested in the Psychobilly. It built its own model of Contrebasse in the shape of coffin and created Nekromantix. The group is currently composed of Troy Destroy (Guitare) and Andrew (NekroKid) (battery). Of 1989 with 2005 of many guitarists and beaters were invited on the songs of Nekromantix, the last appearance in date was that of the brothers Peter Sandorff (guitar/Chant) and Kristian Sandorff (battery).

Anecdotes

- Kim Nekroman also plays of the guitar in the Horrorpops group which it founded with his wife Patricia Day, who replaces it with the double bass. One notes also the presence of the ex double bass player of Tiger Army which holds office of 2nd guitarist.

- Nekroman had found the team perfect near the Sandorff brothers, but they had to leave the ship because they were in impossibility of following Nekroman to America.

- Nekroman exerts the trade of tattouor. Peter Sandorff is architect in Denmark.
