Nehmé Tohmé
Nehmé Tohmé is a Politician and a Lebanese business man.
Born in Moukhtara in 1934, it followed a career of engineer after studies with the AUB. Founder in 1972 of company Al-Mabani of genius and company, he is shareholder many companies and banks, and takes part in many social activities and caritative in Chouf.
He is elected appointed Greek-catholic of Chouf in 2000, on the list directed by the leader Druze Walid Joumblatt. He is re-elected at this station in 2005.
He integrates the government of Fouad Siniora in July 2005 as Minister for Déplacés. He inherits thus the one of the most difficult ministries and a sensitive file which was still not solved, in spite of many years of work and much of suspicions of corruption and financial embezzlements.
