Negeri Sembilan
Negeri Sembilan (or Negri Sembilan , in Jawi: سمبلانسمبيلن), (" nine pays" in Malayan, is a state of Malaysia. It is located at the south of the Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. In the east it is next to the Pahang and in the south, Melaka and Johor.
The capital and more big city are Seremban. The royal capital is Seri Menanti in but the most important cities except the capital are Port Dickson and Nilai. The situation on the axis Kuala Lumpur/Singapore and the proximity of the capital allowed a very important industrialization in particular Nilai and Seremban, which has the appearance of satellite towns of Kuala Lumpur.
Population
In 1995 the ethnic distribution was done as follows: Malayan (391 500 hab./46%), Chinese (220 000 hab./36%), Indians (123 200), Others (10 800), others Bumiputra S (7 000).
History
An inscription with Pengkalan Kempas testifies to the transition taking place in the country. Written in Malayan, it consists of two parts.
