Negativland

Negativland is a Californian group of experimental Musique formed in 1979 with Berkeley. The name of the group Negativland comes from a piece of the first album of Neu!.

The group is composed of Mark Hosler, Richard Lyons, Chris Grigg, Don Joyce & David Wills. Peter Conheim united the group in 1997. Negativland recorded many albums, energy of the simple sound joining to other more elaborate music research; albums which they published for the majority under their clean label, Zeeland Records. End of the Years 1980 at the beginning of the Years 1990, they carried out several productions under ST Records, in particular Escape From Noise , Helter Stupid , and U2 .

Negativland is especially known for the history around their album U2 , which made great noise in the world of the artistic production.
