Ned Leeds
Ned Leeds is a character of comics related to Spider-Man pertaining to the universe of Marvel Comics. It appeared in 1964 in The Amazing Spider-Man # 25, by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.
Biography
Ned Leeds is a colleague of Peter Parker with the Daily Bugle. He is journalist. He is married with Betty Brant with which Peter had his first history of love. It remains besides in good terms with them. But during the episode of the war of the gangs which opposes to the Rose to the Caïd, Ned changes and becomes aggressive, Betty Brant fall then into the arms from Flash Thompson, the friend of college of Peter.He had been captured and lobotomisé by Roderik Kingsley following the events occurring in Amazing Spider-Man #249-250-251 (a combat tightened between Spidey and the first Super-Buffoon, being completed by disappearance in water of this last).
One learns then during a voyage from Peter and Ned which it is the Super-Buffoon and it dies assassinated by the good care of Jason Macendale (which asserted the costume) with the ordes of Caïd under the eyes of Peter, in Amazing Spider-Man #289, June 1987.
