Nebmertouf (scribe)
Nebmertouf was scribe and chief of the priests readers during the reign of Amenhotep {{III}}.
Two sculptors groups exposed to the Musée of Louvre represent it, leaning on its roller of papyrus, the ear tended towards a baboon perched on a Piédestal, which is not other than the god Thot, “Master of the divine words” which, as an owner of the scribes, takes care on Nebmertouf and dictates to him the divine word.
