Neauphle-the-Old man

Neauphle-the-Old man is a common French, located in the department of the Yvelines and the area Île-de-France.

The inhabitants are the Neauphléens .

Geography

The commune of Neauphle-the-Old man is in the valley of the Mauldre, on left bank of the river, with the confluence of this one with its two principal affluents of left bank, Guyonne and Lieutel, in the North-East of the Plaine of Montfort-l' Amaury.

The communes bordering are Beynes in north, Villiers-Saint-Frederic in the east, Jouars-Pontchartrain with the extreme east-south-east on 150 meters, It Tremblay-on-Mauldre in south-east, Bazoches-on-Guyonne in the south-south-east on 100 meters, Mareil-le-Guyon in the south, Méré in south-west and Vicq in the west.

The territory primarily rural (approximately 90%) and is devoted to the cereal field crop. The habitat is gathered, along Mauldre, in the borough and the hamlet of Cressay located more at north, except for two isolated farms.

The communications are ensured by several road secondary: RD 11, RD 42, RD 34 which cross in the borough, while the Trunk road 12 and its old layout, displaced in RD 912, cross the southern part of the commune.

On the railway level, the Ligne Paris-Granville parallel to crosses the commune the RD 912, the commune being served by the Gare of Villiers - Neauphle - Pontchartrain located in the common neighbor of Villiers-Saint-Frederic.
