Neapolitan
The Neapolitan is the Dialecte spoken with Naples which belongs to a vaster whole of speeches known as southernmost, spoken in the areas close to the Campanie (Molise, north of the Calabria, north of the Pouilles, Basilicate). It is a Romance Langue which remains very alive today in the streets of Naples and its periphery since the majority of the families still communicates into Neapolitan (only 12% of the Neapolitan families would speak only Italian), even if the official language and taught in the schools remains Italian. The Neapolitan remainder relatively close to standard Italian, but in a style more " abregé". This language moreover borrowed, continuations with the successive foreign dominations, a series of French words (for example the word: " boîte") and Spanish. It is included/understood only partially by Italian coming from other areas.
