Ndoulo

Ndoulo (or Doulo ) is a village of the mid-west of the Senegal

History

Administration

Ndoulo is one of the two sub-prefectures of the Département of Diourbel in the area of Diourbel.

It is also the chief town of the rural Community of Ndoulo which counts nearly 11.000 inhabitants and includes/understands 52 villages, of which that of Ndoulo itself.

Geography

The closest localities are Goude, Merina, Ndia Sam, Diaoualdi, Doguene and Darou Diop.

Population

According to a study of 2000, the number of inhabitants of the village would have been of 2.171 in 1998.

Economic activities

The population saw mainly agriculture (Arachide and Mil), but from now on one cultivates also beans and Pastèque S.
