Ndebou belongs to the rural community of Bandafassi, in the Département of Kédougou (Région of Tambacounda).

One finds in Ndebou one of the most important layers of Marbre of Senegal, of decorative high-quality, whose reserves are estimated at 800  000 million tons. .
