Ndebele houses
The tradition to paint houses in South Africa
The people Ndebele paint their houses with the geometrical designs. For the 19 century the women have painted the houses. This tradition has begins when the houses started to be made with mud, not grass. Before they decorated with the houses, they decorated with clothing and the pots with the coloured designs.
