Navy blue
The navy blue is a Couleur, a dark nuance of the Bleu. Some confuse the navy blue with the Noir, particularly for clothing. This color draws its name from the dark blue (opposite of the light blue) carried by sailors of the Royal Navy since 1748 and later adopted by other ships everywhere in the world. The uniforms of winter of the Navy of the United States and the Navy of the Canadian Forces says " blue marine" but they are in fact " noir." There exists also a dark navy blue for the almost black dark navy blue like the unifromes firemen and certain clothing. Dark Navy blue and navy blue
