NaviDrive

The system NaviDrive is a radio ordered by the voice, a reader CD, a telephone and a navigation system GPS joined together in only one system. One finds it on the vehicles Citroen (C8, C6, C5, C4 and C3). It includes/understands a special function for reading messages texts and also buttons dedicated to the emergency calls and the service of assistance (with which it position of the car can be directly transmitted).

Its principal functions are:

  • monochromic Screen or color of 7"

  • hand-free Telephone GSM Bi-band
  • Reading of text (reading of messages SMS)
  • Voice recognition
  • Information traffic in real-time (RDS-TMC)

In certain country (France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg), in the event of accident (by pressing a button or automatically when the airbag starts), the system sends a message text with the exact position of the vehicle delivered by the GPS then a call to a platform of hotline which receives the position and the call. This platform determines the emergency kind (medical, accident, fire,…) by putting some questions and sends the service urgently suitable on the place indicated by the GPS.
