Nature Publishing Group

Natural Publishing Group or NPG is an press group specialized in sciences, born in 1999, and amalgamated with the scientific editions gathering Macmillan: Natural , various reviews of Natural research , reviews of specialities NPG (before Stockton Near), magazine publishers of point of the scientific community, medical and technical, as reference NPG (before Macmillan Refers Ltd), of the editors of scientific informations of reference including/understanding the Encyclopédie of the life sciences , which are regarded today as the scientific resource most ambitious existing on the market and including/understanding printed contents or in line.

In 2000, NPG launched three other reviews in the collection Nature , which add up a score of publications focusing itself on the Life sciences.

NPG wants to be a dynamic company and innovating, creating scientific contents of foreground, and being committed publishing only scientific material of reference of a very great quality and rigor, as well as information on the scientific innovations, the possibilities of career, scientific matter recruitment, as of the contents which interest in the first chief the researchers of the private and public field.

NPG employs some 400 people. It is a subsidiary company of the company Macmillan Publishers Ltd, an editor founded in the United Kingdom in 1843. Macmillan itself is controlled by the German company Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck GMBH.
