Natural reserve of Ramières of the Valley of Drome
The national Natural reserve of the Ramières in the Drome has a surface of 346 ha. It was created on October 2nd, 1987 by Décret. It was supplemented in 2005 by the protection of an order of the prefect of biotope of 57 ha on the site of Freydières.

It is a medium protected composed of
- wild river gravel
- benches and small islands
- ripisylve of willows and poplars
- meadows with orchises
- phreatic resurgences.

Fauna
46 species of dragonflies of which the agrion of mercury, more than 200 butterflies, 280 species vertebrate including 17 fish (apron of the Rhone), 6 Amphibians, 10 reptiles (grass snake green and yellow, viperine snake, grass snake of Esculape, ocellé lizard…), 17 mammals (beaver of Europe), 200 birds including 70 nicheurs (brush garzette, Milan black, falcon small landed proprietor, small-gravelot, guêpier of Europe, fishing morning) and 100 migrating (white stork, black stork, osprey, sandpipers) and wintering (black-headed gulls, cormorants…)
Flora
680 plant species including 1 protected on the national plan (Nigelle de France) and 5 at the regional level, more than 100 species of trees and shrubs, twelve orchises and 15 plants watery (coloured Potamot).
