Natural park Laguna de Gómez

The Parks Natural Laguna de Gómez (Natural park of Laguna de Gómez), in Argentine, is in the south-west of the town of Junín, in province of Buenos Aires, where it occupies more than 200 hectares on the edges of the Lake Junín, also called Laguna de Gómez.

Access

The access is very easy, because it is located at 12 km of the center of the city and at 8 km of the international road n° 7. Its access is asphalted and bordered of beautiful and picturesque constructions.

Tourism

It is the principal tourist attraction of the area, and the tourist services are numerous there. Among them, there are restaurants, telephones, medical assistence, stores to supply itself, the police force and the possibility of renting boats. The park offers various possibilities of lodging and different alternative for the practice from the sports. A diary filled well with events belongs to the tourist offer.

Sports

Water sports: Water skiing, yachting, motor bikes, jet ski and windsurf. The Nautical Club of Junín has its installations there (It has restaurant and camp-site).

Club of sailplanes: Flights in sailplane or small plane on the lagoon and the town of Junín.

Car Motor bike Club, with the Regional Autódromo del Oeste .

fishing: The Laguna de Gómez is traditional sporting fishing. In its water the pejerreys " abound; flecha of plata" (money arrow) or Odontesthes bonariensis , the most important species of fish of the province as well from the commercial point of view as sporting.

Lodging

There exists in the park a complex of bungalows, more than 100 cabañas organized and 11 camp-sites. Moreover the rural camp-site is authorized in certain sectors. For comfort campers, there exist 6 houses of public baths with showers, and more than 300 grills.
