Nato is the pseudonym of a Russian singer born on October 3rd, 1979 with Tiflis, in Georgia. However, it is distinguished owing to the fact that it does not sing in Russian but in Tadjik.
Nato was discovered and launched on the world scene by the producer Ivan Schapovalov, who also was at the origin of the success of T.A.T.u. A little on the same model that t.A.T.u, Nato plays the chart of provocation. Indeed, with an apparent critic of the Russian capacity and an appropriate dress pointing out that of “Black Widows” - these widows kamikazes Tchétchènes about which one does not intend little to speak in Western Europe - Nato dissociates other Russian singers.
Nato started its career in 2000 but is known only since June 2005, after its contract with Ivan Schapovalov.
