Nationalist party of Bangladesh

The nationalist left Bangladesh (Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Dal, BNP) is the main thing Political party Bangladesh. It was created on September 1st 1978 by ancient president Ziaur Rahman. The party controlled the country five times. The president of the party is Khaleda Zia, current the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. BNP in the majority absolute at the national parliament, with two thirds of the seats.

With the elections of 2001, BNP and its allies added up 47% of the votes, gaining 215 of the 300 seats of the Parliament.
