National school of public administration

The National school of public administration , shortened in ENAP and founded on June 26th, 1969, is a university establishment Quebec whose head office is located at Quebec and who has campuses of teaching to Montreal, with Three-Rivers, Gatineau and Saguenay. In 2006, the ENAP counted 1802 students divided in its five campuses.

The ENAP has the role of contributing to the development of the public administration at the same time like field of knowledge and field of practice. The ENAP translates the exercise of its mission in five great fields of intervention:

formation by programmes of studies of 2nd and 3rd cycle in public administration;
the support for the public organizations by services of improvement, evaluation of competences and board of trustees;

Programs of studies

The ENAP offers programmes of studies of 2nd and 3rd university cycles, adapted at the same time to the needs for the individuals and public organizations while meeting university and professional aims. They can be followed part-time or full-time to Quebec and Montreal, and with certain restrictions of course, in the three other campuses of Gatineau, Three-Rivers and Saguenay.

The training given with the ENAP is addressed as well to the managers in exercise as with the graduates of the baccalaureat who choose a career of analyst or advising in public administration. Each one can find there a program being appropriate for its profile.
