National school of Theater of Canada
The National school of theater of Canada was established with Montreal in 1960. It occupies the historic site of the Monument-National on the Boulevard the St. Lawrence, as well as a building of the Plateau on the streets Saint-Denis and Laurier.
Founded by the realizer Michel Saint-Denis, the National school of theater is the principal school of theatrical formation in Canada. It offers a professional training in all the trades of the English and French theater.
The school gives annually the Prix Gascon-Thomas.
