National research institute and of safety
The National research institute and of safety (INRS) is a French association known as law of 1901 and whose complete name is: “National research institute and of safety for the prevention of the accidents of work and the occupational diseases”. It works under the aegis of the National bank of health insurance. Its board of directors is composed for equal part of representatives of the employers and representatives of the Syndicat S.
The main missions of the INRS are of:
- to lead studies and research in the fields of safety and the work conditions
- publishing reports in order to improve health and safety of the man to work
- to train technicians of prevention
It produces and diffuse many information supports like reviews (Travail and safety), cards near the professional world. It has also a role of expertise and formation to improve the security conditions.
