National park of Upemba

The national park of Upemba is a park of the Democratic republic of Congo (DRC), located in the province of the Katanga. The whole of the park covers: 11730 km ². With the Park of Kundelungu, the park of Upemba is the only place in DRC where one finds Zèbre S in their natural environment.

The national park is divided between the territories of Bukama in the east, that of Mitwaba in the west and Lubudi in the south.

An important part of the park recovers the Dépression of Kamalondo, with like lake principal the Lac Upemba and the Lac Kisale.
