The national park of Syöte ( Syötteen kansallispuisto in Finnish) is a national park the North-East of the Finland in the provinces of Oulu and Lapland. It consists of old, typical forests of the Koillismaa, of which a part is in altitude (env 400 m). A quarter of the surface of the park is occupied by marshes of various types.
The park is divided into 4 separated units, divided between the municipalities of Posio, Taivalkoski and Pudasjärvi.
The majority of installations, in particular the construction of a reception center of the visitors, the marking of the 122 km principal hiking trails and of the 3 loops of discovery, were carried out after the opening of the park in 2000.
