The National park of Rokua is smallest national park of Finland, in the area of the Kainuu. It is located on the commune of Vaala.

The park protects a dry forest around a sandy Moraine dominating the plain surrounding from approximately 60 meters. The ground is covered with a rare species of Lichen.

The park is bordered by Keisarintie, the postal main roads of Finland of the XVII {{E}} at the end of the XIXe century. It is only one forest track today.
