National park of Denali
The national park of Denali ( Denali National Park and Preserve ) is a American natural park located at the center of the Alaska and which includes/understands the Mont McKinley, more the high summit of North America (6194 meters). The park extends on 24.585 km ², that is to say the size of four French departments. The word “Denali” means “the top” in language athapascane.
The top was baptized name of the candidate to the American presidency, William McKinley.
Fauna
The area of Denali shelters a large variety of birds and mammals. An important population of Grizzly S and black Ours S is present on the territory of the park. It constitutes the ground of course of the herds of caribou S or moufflons of Dall. One can also observe dash S and wolves. Small animals adapted to the natural environment populate the national park such as the marmot of Rock the, the squirrels of the Arctic ( Spermophilus parryii ), the beavers and the Pika S.The park of Denali also shelters one of the richest reserves of birds. End of spring at the end of the summer, many migratory species live in the area: Bombycillidae (Gossip of America), Durbec of the pines, Trap, alpine Grouse, whistling Swan, Golden eagle, etc The many rivers offer various fish species to the fishermen: Trout S, Salmon S, etc
The guards of the park endeavor to maintain the animals in a wild state and recommend to the visitors not to nourish them or approach them too near. They also stress the dangers which the bears represent.
