National park of Anticosti
The National park of Anticosti is a national park Quebec of 572 km ² located on the island of Anticosti, with broad of the Coast-North. It shelters nearly 133 species different of birds, several herds of stags of Virginia, of many common seals without counting innumerable the caves and canyons strewing the territory with the island.
The park is managed by the Québécois government through the Société of the establishments of outdoor of Quebec (SÉPAQ). It manages large territories on the island following the repurchase of those by the government of Quebec in 1985, but it is only in April 2001 that the park itself was created. It consists of 4 sectors dispersed through the island.
