The national park of Akanda is a natural surface protected located at the North-East from Libreville, with the Gabon. Bordered by bays of Mondah and Corisco, this park presents to a landscape of watery in cash Mangrove, rich person, Amphibians and birds. It is the most important site of Gabon for the migratory birds. Marine tortoises attend also water of the park. Associations of environmental protection worry about the increase in the anthropic pressure in the park of Akanda. Because of the proximity of the Gabonese capital, a growing number of fishermen and loggers come to carry on their activity there to then resell smoked fish downtown, boards and firewood. It is one of the rare places in Gabon where the number of the men starts to pose problem.
