National park Tsingy de Bemaraha
The national park Tsingy de Bemaraha is in the mid-west of Madagascar, with approximately 300 kilometers of Tananarive. It recovers 72 340 hectares in the south of the integral Natural reserve of Tsingy de Bemaraha.
The formations of Tsingy go up with the separation of the island of Madagascar of the African plate, 160 million years ago. This slip tectnonic involved the rising of a gigantic calcareous plate. Tsingy are thus these immense limestone solid masses to the impressive paces.
Tsingy of Bemaraha are vastest of Madagascar. These single formations in the world wake up the curiosity of botanists, geologists, environmentalists and biologists. Tsingy include/understand 90 varieties of birds, 8 species of reptiles and 10 species of Lémurien S.
Tsingy de Bemaraha are close to the small town of Bekopaka, in the West of the country, with 150km in the North of Morondava and 350 km in the South-west of Mahajanga. The reserve is open from June to November (season dries) but remains still not very obvious of access.
