The national park Losiny Ostrov (Russian: Национальныйпарк " ЛосиныйОстров" , i.e. " island with the élans") is the first Russian national park. It is located partly on the territory of the town of Moscow partly on that of the Oblast of Moscow.

Its entire surface (in 2001) was of 116,21 km ². The forest occupies more than 90% of the surface of which the third is within the limits of the town of Moscow. The park was founded in 1983.
