The national park Charles Darwin is a Australian National park , located in the Territoire of North ( Northern Territory ) at 4 km at the south-east of Darwin. It was creates in 1998 and makes only 13.02 km ². It is managed by the Parks and Wildlife Commission off the Northern Territory and by the indigenous traditional owners. It is classified protected area category II by UICN.

This park with the characteristic to have on its territory a great number of Bunker S out of concrete, vestiges of the 2nd world war. One of them was transformed into reception center for the visitors and into memorial of the 2nd world war. The park offers many points of sights on the town of Darwin.

It regularly accommodates events such as the world festival of dances of the world ( Earthdance festival ).
