National institute of the industrial property
The National institute of the industrial property (INPI) is a French public corporation, created by the law n° 51-444 of April 19th, 1951, placed under the supervision of the minister in charge for industry.
It has the role:
- to receive the deposits and to deliver the titles of industrial property: Patent S, Mark S, Drawing S and Model S
- to take part in the development of the right of the industrial property
- to place at the disposal of the public any necessary information for protection of the titles of industrial property
- to centralize the trade registers and the companies of different the courts in the national Register from the trade and the companies (the bearing bill reforms legal protection of major should, if it passes the stage of the Constitutional council, withdraw the RNCS to him to entrust it to the Clerc's Offices bankruptcy courts), as well as the Répertoire exchange of the trades.
