National front of Botswana
The National front of Botswana ( National Botswana Face or BNF ) is a Political party botswanais of opposition, in addition observant member of the Internationale Socialist.
At the time of the last legislative elections of October 30th 2004, the BNF obtained 26,1% of the popular votes and 12 seats of deputy on the 57 whom count the National Assembly of Botswana. It is in 1994 that this party appears on the front of the political scene while making elect 13 of its members at this same assembly. The program of the BNF is inspired largely by the ideals of the Social-démocratie, one of its main objectives being the fight against the Pauvreté. Internal quarrels, fights of influence led to scissions within the party and with the emergence of the Party of the Congress botswanais ( Botswana Congress Party ) with the ideology close to the political training from which it is resulting.
The historic leaders of this party were Chief Bathoen, Kenneth Koma, today Otsweletse Moupo is the chief.
