The National federation of the stockbreeders of Goat S , or FNEC , is one of the specialized associations of FNSEA,

The Federation ensures the defense of the interests of the milk producers and farm cheeses in all the fields concerning the caprine die.

It represents them within the national organizations and with respect to the Public authority.

To this end, it has administrators and representatives in various organizations:

• technical like the Institute of the Breeding, the National federation of the Groupings of Medical Defense of the Cattle, CAPRIGENE and the French federation of Dairy Control,
• trade-union like National confederation of the breeding and FNSEA,
• economic such as the ANICAP and the ONILAIT,
• international such as the UCARDEC

The board of directors of the FNEC is composed of deputy elected officials by the areas and gather the departmental Trade-union organizations and the representatives of specialized National associations.

The board of directors created within the FNEC of the Committees charged to study specific files, such as:

• the farm commission which organizes the Farm Goat's milk cheese National competition and FROMAGORA,
• medical commission, ........

With the aim of inform the stockbreeders of goat, the FNEC publishes " The Letter of the FNEC " It is shareholder of TECHNIPEL and it SPEOC which publishes the review " The Goat ". It organizes information and training courses for the professional persons in charge on the current problems which arise on the level of the caprine die
