National confederation of catholic family associations

The National confederation of Catholic Family associations , association recognized public utility, is a national confederation of family associations, approved like Consumers' association.

This confederation belongs to the 5 principal family movements “general practitioners”, members of UNAF (National union of Family associations).

History

Created in 1905, CNAFC celebrated its centenary in 2005. It is chaired today by Antoine Renard who succeeded Paul de Viguerie (2001-2007).

Charter

Catholic Family associations want to be a framework of engagement and mutual aid, opened with all those which want to act in the company with the service of the family and in the light of the teaching of the Catholic church .

The purpose of its action is of:

  • To develop the family founded on the marriage and the children seen like way of happiness and blooming of the person.
  • To distinguish locally needs for the families and to take the initiatives to answer it: services, meetings, formation, educational assistance…
  • To be a force of permanent proposal near the economic actors, social and political so that the choices of the family and the reception of the child are facilitated. ”

The Charter of the year 2000 gave to the movement a new dash.
