National bank of the scientific research
The National bank of the scientific research is an old institution of financing of French research.
The National bank of the scientific research was created by the Order in Council of October 30th, 1935 by gathering of the Caisse of the scientific research and the National bank of sciences.
It was placed under the auspices of the Superior council of the scientific research
Its first board of directors was chaired by Jean Perrin.
It had as attributions to distribute purses, to take part in the financing of the operation of the laboratories and to finance retirement pensions for the old scientists.
The National bank of the scientific research amalgamated on October 19th, 1939 with the National center of the scientific research applied to form the National center of the scientific research.
