National agency of fight against illiteracy
The National agency of Fight against Illiteracy (or ANLCI ) is a Groupement of public interest (GIP) French created in 2000. It has the role of centralizing information on the Illettrisme, and of fighting against by carrying out statistics on the risks related to family social environment, by publishing its research, by organizing formations, etc
Missions
To determine the priorities to implement to fight against illiteracy within the framework of the orientations laid down by the government. To organize the dialog enter the whole of the actors of the fight against illiteracy, to animate and coordinate their action. To take care of the taking into account of the relative questions to illiteracy within and the research action plans of its members. To make carry out the evaluation of the impact carried out policies and actions.
Objectives
The ANLCI must count, treat on a hierarchical basis the existing means, organize the setting in synergy of the actions of the public authorities and other actors of the fight against illiteracy and, by this organization, increase the effectiveness by it.To support the emergence of the fight against illiteracy in the speeches and the acts of all those which can contribute to it, the ANLCI must create the conditions so that each one, responsible or actor, mobilizes himself and recipient of this action feels.
The ANLCI rests on a logic of mobilization and valorization of the means and actors, more than on a logic of direct action, or distribution of subsidies.
