National Symphony orchestra of Denmark
The national Symphony orchestra of Denmark ( DR. Radiosymfoniorkestret in Danish) is the the Symphony orchestra most famous of the Denmark.
History
Founded in 1925, it also counts among the oldest orchestras of radio. It owes its row among the large European phalanges with two eminent chiefs, Fritz Busch and the Russian Nicolai Malko which directed it at its beginnings.In 2004, Thomas Dausgaard, previously principal invited chief, is named with the head of the orchestra, the first chief of Danish nationality occupying this station. Iouri Temirkanov succeeded to him the principal invited post of head.
The orchestra is based with the DR. Concert Hall of Frederiksberg (Zeeland).
