National Living room of the humanitarian

The national Salon of the humanitarian took place in 2005 and 2006, with the Exhibition site of Cergy-Pontoise.

the collective ASAH, organizer of the editions 2005 and 2006, and the collective Humanis organize in 2007 the Salon of Solidarity, with the Floral garden of Paris, the 22,23 and June 24th, 2007.

Edition 2006

Inaugurated by Mrs. Brigitte Girardin, minister delegated to the Co-operation, the Development and the Francophonie, and by Mrs. Louise Avon, delegated to the humanitarian action, the 2nd edition of the national Living room of the Humanitarian, will be held May 18th, 19th and 20th with the exhibition site of Cergy-Pontoise (95). This event, developing this year the topics of the partnership and the Francophonie, in the presence of Belgian and Swiss partners, is organized on the initiative of Collective and the Exhibition site St Martin of Pontoise ASAH, Association with the Service of the Humanitarian action.

  • met: 6000 m2, where the general public discovered more than 150 exhibitors representing the international assistance in its diversity;

  • exchanged: original and instructive animations, debates and conferences for better knowing and making known the stakes of the international assistance;
  • to act together: new partnerships and a pooling of the forces and knowledge to make to improve the Humanitarian action as a whole.
Vis-a-vis the change of the work methods and a handing-over in question of the values of the humanitarian action, the governmental organizations French ONG must reinforce their means by mobilizing the Public opinion and while professionnalisant themselves to the maximum. It is in this context that a constructive and federator movement was made feel among the actors of the International solidarity. For that, a gathering with the national scales will open the doors of the “world of the Humanitarian” often reserved to the initiates. This event will offer a new glance on the humanitarian. It will allow the meeting for the exchange with a single aim of the action.

A federator movement between all these recipients had become impossible to circumvent today.
