National Instruments
National Instruments (NASDAQ: NATI) is a company which produces software of virtual Instrumentation. The software produced by this company includes/understands the graphic environment of development NEITHER LabVIEW, the environment of development (ANSI/ISO C) NOR LabWindows/CVI and of the modular materials, such as the modules PXI for the data acquisition, the control of the instruments and the monitoring of the machines.
Electronics Workbench Inc., a subsidiary company of National Instruments, produced Multisim, a trace program of electrical circuits. This program named formerly Electronics Workbench.
Created in 1976 by the doctor James Truchard, by Bill Nowlin and Jeff Kodosky, National Instruments, which has its seat with Austin (Texas), has more than 3400 employees and has activities in 41 countries. In 2003, the company sold products with more 25 000 companies in 90 countries with a Turnover of 426 million dollars (347 million euros approximately). For 7 years (2000-2006), the magazine Fortune has regarded National Instruments as one of 100 the best undertaken where to work in the United States.
