The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (or NCSA , literally National center for the applications of the supercomputers ) is an American center of research and of exploitation of the Superordinateur S. It is located on the campus of the Université of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign.

This center is in particular known in the world of Internet for its Logiciel S:

• NCSA telnet, a customer telnet;
• NCSA Mosaic, the Navigator Web which popularized the World Wide Web;
• NCSA httpd, a Waiter HTTP, ancestor of the Waiter Apache;
• Common Gateway Interfaces, interface standard of Programmation invented on NCSA httpd.
