National-anarchism

The national-anarchism (or anarchist-nationalism) is a political movement seeking to combine the Nationalisme with the anarchistic positions of rejection of the Capitalisme and the State. Its partisans propose that these ethnicities live separate in autonomous groups.

The movement finds its roots intellectual in the “third-positionnisme” ( third positionism ,) whose wish is to be a growth of Extreme left starting from the identity movements. For this reason some think that national-anarchism is nothing more than one frontage for racialist groups seeking to propagate their ideology.

The term “national-anarchism” was created by the “ National Revolutionary Faction ” to describe its philosophy. One of its current members, Troy Southgate (former member of the National British Face ) then became the spokesperson and theorist of this ideology.

The quoted influences include Bakounine, Kropotkine, Proudhon and Stirner although the majority of the anarchists think that these references are an attempt of the national-anarchists to try to prove that the movement has an historical link with anarchism, since none of these authors has bond with the nationalist movements which found national-anarchism.

In their writings, the national-anarchists claim not to disparage the Jews contrary with some of the anarchistic authors whom they quote like having influenced. Thus Bakounine remained all its life anti-semite (calling the Jews “groups organically parasitic”). Proudhon was also nationalist and anti-semite and the Proudhon Circle, under the direction of Charles Maurras, trying to apply the methods anarchist-trade unionists in order to restore the king to the throne.

Contrary to the national-anarchists, the contemporary anarchistic speech completely rejected the Racialisme and racial separation.

With the the United States, a similar movement is the “leaderless resistance” formulated by James Mason which applies the concepts of network and absence of hierarchy to promote ethnic separatism. However those did not choose to be called anarchists.

Basic principles of the movement

  • “Our design of “the national” word renvoit not with a territory but with the ethno-cultural identity which is a natural facet of all the people” Troy Southgate.

  • “We believe in political, social and economic decentralization. In other words we wish that the bureaucratic designs like UNO, NATO, the EU, the the IMF and even the State-nations like the England and the Germany be éradiqués and are replaced by communautées of autonomous villages” Troy Southgate.

Discusses

The majority of the contemporary anarchists reject as illegitimate the use of the anarchistic term by this movement although he preach the disappearance of the organization official. The chiefs of national-anarchism are often companions of the movements white-power and néo-Nazis who seek the racial séparastime directly. Moreover, all the known spokespersons of national-anarchism are members or former members of néo-Nazis groups or parties of extreme-right-hand side.

The majority of the national-anarchists believe that the racial interbreeding is a serious threat for humanity. They consider indeed that the mixture of cultures destroys one of the cultures, if they are not all the implied cultures.

Certain anarchists claim that national-anarchism is only one tool to recruit people with the anarchistic convictions or preaching the white suprémacie, by denaturing what they understand by anarchy.
