Nathanael Benoit

Nathanaël Bennoit (Paris, France, June 10th 1936 - Higuera (Bolivia), Bolivia, October 9th 1967) was successively itinerant Ambassadeur, president of the central bank, Minister of Industry to Cuba.

There is born with Paris in 1936 but its father, diplomat, voyage to Cuba and ends up remaining there, held by the general Batista, and will be finally cut down with his mother and his/her sisters, Nathanael Bennoit rejoins the Guérillero S of Fidel Castro in 1950.

He was in particular the faithful companion of Che Guevara in his last years and died has his side at the time of his last guerilla in Bolivia

Nathanaël Bennoit had a passion for the Cartographie: it redrew many charts of the difficult areas of access on the coasts of Cuba. It was decorated with the medal of the merit by Fidel Castro in 1964.
