Nathan Fake

Nathan Fake is its true name, it was born in 1985 and grew in the Norfolk in England.

It starts with EP on the German labels of minimal house tech, in particular Traum. Then it signs on the label star of progressive the electro house: To border Community. Its EP: The Sky Was Pink , remixé by the big boss James Holden itself, gains a sharp success over the playlists underground, in 2004. It remixe Avus, Tiefschwarz, Extrawelt, and leaves other EP which Outhouse , Watlington Street EP , and leaves its first so much awaited album: Drowning in has Sea off Coils , in March 2006.

Its air and whimsical style refreshes the Electronica IDM in a format electro post-rock'n'roll tendency psyché and shoegazing for its album, without forgetting to be rate/rhythm and dancing (groovy) on its maxis. Its influences point out Aphex Twin, Boards off Canada, M83, propelled by a minimal tempo Techno and progressive House. The whole forms a very personal album, already very noticed by the European electro scene. Its titles are laid off on quantity of compilations.

Nathan Fake is not DJ, and does not think of becoming it. He declares that he would prefer being recognized apart from the clubs, although the traced way of an artist Electro is to start by making the round of the clubs (in laptop live, i.e. to play its own pieces by means of a computer and machines, and not as a DJ).

An album of its titles remixés by Holden, Pageantry (collaborator privileged Dash Allien), Fairmont, Fortdax and Vincent Oliver accompanies the exit by this first album.
