Natalie Imbruglia

Natalie Jane Imbruglia (born on February 4th, 1975 with Sydney) is a singer and actress Australia.

Biography

Born from an Italian father - Metz-native (Elliott) and of a mother Australia (Maxine), Natalia Imbruglia, of its true name, begins its career of actress at 16 years in the Soap operated (televised series) Australian Neighbors . After 2 years within this series, it goes to London to follow a career of actress to the Théâtre. The experiment hardly smiling to him , it starts to compose its own texts of songs.

In 1997, it is located by the recording company BMG which will produce a few months later its first album Left Off The Middle . Phil Thornalley, producer of The Cure will help it to create its own musical style and to impose it. Consequently, she is a world success by selling six million and half of albums throughout the world. Its first title Torn (a resumption of the group Ednaswap) will be number 2 of the British charts .

She returns in November 2001 with its second album White Lilies Island being a success less than the precedent but all the same very honourable, approximately 2 million copies sold.

In 2002, it appears in some Publicité S for L'Oreal. She also plays cinema at the side of Rowan Atkinson and John Malkovich in the comedy Johnny English . On the musical level, it also takes part in certain original soundtracks with Identify , extracted the film Stigmata or Cold Air of Mexican film Y you mamá también .

The December 31st 2003, Natalie marries Daniel Johns the singer of the group Australia N Silverchair.

In 2005, it leaves its third album Counting Down The Days for which it called upon Ben Hillier, the producer of the British group Blur. Daniel Johns also takes part in the production of certain titles.

The September 10th 2007, it leaves its best-of entitled Glorious: The Individual 1997-2007.

Natalie currently works on its 4th album which should leave in 2008.
