Natalia Ivanovna Sedova (in Cyrillic) is militant and communist auteure born the April 5th 1882 and dead the January 23rd 1962. It was the second woman of Leon Trotsky.

Sedova is the girl of the polar explorer Ivan Sedov. She militates in the communist revolutionary group “Iskra” (Spark) and in 1903, Marie with Trotsky. The couple has two children: Lev Sedov (1906 - 1938) and of Sergueï Sedov (1908 - 1937). She follows Trotsky at the time which he flees the the USSR, last under Stalinist domination , for the Mexico.

At the time of the War of Spain, Sedova approaches Grandizo Munis, the section head Bolshevik-Leninist.

After the assassination of Trotsky in 1940, Sedova remains with Mexico City and the Marxist mediums. It Co-writing with Victor Serge, a biography of Trotsky.

Under the political influence of Provided, she considers that the Union of the Soviet socialist republics applies a form of Capitalisme of State and that the Fourth International founded by Trotsky does not make it possible any more to bring to Communism. She draws the conclusions from them by leaving the fourth International one in 1951.
