Narthécie of the marshes
The Narthécie of the marshes ( Narthecium ossifragum ) is a plant of the family of the Narthéciacées which pushes in the European peat bogs.
It is sometimes classified in the Mélanthiacées.
Other names: Narthécie break-bone, Narthécie ossifrage.
Description
It is an average plant (10 to 25 cm), set up, with yellow ear flowers, of spangled form. The nets of cheesecloths are covered with yellow hairs.
The sheets are linear, green glaucous.
